The Twin King is able to gently and very thoroughly remove all loose top hair and the undercoat WITHOUT cutting a single hair. It does not scratch the skin and its ergonomic design means that it can be used over a longer period of time in a way that is gentle on strength and joints.

Why is it so important not to cut off the top hair?

The fur protects against cold, heat, moisture and, most importantly, against injuries! Nature developed this sensibly and the top hair must be preserved. But since our dogs do not have the opportunity to scrub the dead undercoat off trees like in the wild, we help the dogs by using the Twin King. On the one hand, the top hair determines the appearance and must never be cut off! Once that happens, it cannot be reversed. The fur will never grow back the way it should and, on the other hand, can no longer fulfill its important functions. There is a real competition on the web in which dog owners post pictures of which dog has more hair on the floor than on the body. You are doing your dog a disservice! To remove the undercoat, start with the side with the large gap between the blades.
