Our great-grandmothers already knew:

100 brush strokes a day make hair shine healthy and massage the scalp. But at that time there were no brushes with plastic bristles. But this only works with a hairbrush made of 100 % natural bristles, 100 % wild boar bristles are best suited for this.

If you read in a product description "with" wild boar bristles or "with" natural bristles, artificial bristles are often added, which would rather damage the hair.

Wildboar bristles are structurally similar to our human hair. The surface is rough due to the keratin layer, which means that the wild boar bristles can absorb human hair fat and distribute it to the ends of the hair. It envelops every single hair and can thus prevent split ends, breaking and injuries. This is also a natural protection when washing your hair often every day, because the human hair fat are washed away with every hair wash due to a possibly unsuitable shampoo.

What about straight hair/ very thick hair?

For this purpose, some manufacturers insert somewhat longer synthetic bristles into the bristle bundles so that they can reach the scalp. This has created a "spacer" that makes it difficult for the natural bristles to reach the scalp at all!

The nurturing effect can only be unfolded if the natural bristles reach the scalp.

In the case of very thick hair, the hair must be parted in order to better reach the scalp. But this effort is worth it.
